Commercial Payment Consultant

For an innovative Payment Consultancy firm, we are currently looking for a 'Commercial Payment Consultant' (Pre-Sales). Being already the market leader in the US and in the UK, our client is growing rapidly to become the world's leading consultancy firm that is focused on providing advice to merchants regarding their payment arrangements. With this role you will become a key member of their consultancy team, working closely together with a portfolio of European merchants. If doing so successfully, you will be given the opportunity to help lead the setup of their first German office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse merchant portfolio (relationship management)
  • Identify opportunities to acquire more merchants
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers
  • Take over the lead in client projects 
  • Become the product expert in the payment market
  • Opportunity to open up their first German presence

Profile

  • Sales, Account Management or negotiation experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Relationship management experience
  • Experience in presenting information to C-level
  • Performance orientated and high self-motivation 
  • 2-5 years of experience in the payment industry
  • Excellent communication skills German and English (fluent in speaking and writing)
