Sales Director – PSP (London)

One of PaymentGenes' FinTech/Payment-partners, offering financial institutions the ability to enhance their customer proposition. They help FinTech businesses and banks to provide their customers with faster and cheaper cross border banking solutions, without the need to build their own infrastructure and correspondent banking partner network.

By integrating with this platform, Financial institutions can offer their customers banking services – from payments to loans – to help them trade domestically and globally, effciently and at low cost. Importantly they can help their customers improve cash flow through enhanced speed of settlement whilst remaining fully compliant with financial regulation.

 

Profile

We are looking for a Sales Director to serve customers by selling our range of products and ensuring we are meeting the customer needs:

  • 10 years’ + experience in senior sales roles at a payment, FX business or bank selling payments and FX services to tier 1 Payment Service Providers.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the industry in which you are selling, with a deep understanding of client requirements.
  • Ideally experience working in a fast growing “start-up” culture.

 

Core responsibilities

  • To proactively self-source leads and prospects from own resources, events and relationships.
  • Develop a strong lead pipeline and secure sustainable, profitable ongoing relationships.
  • Manage end to end sales process and post go live.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of client set up.
  • Create clear and coherent client propositions within the bounds of available products.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships by understanding and servicing their needs after initial on-boarding, ensuring the client starts to ramp up to their potential.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider sales team to identify new target markets, share market intel and best practices.
  • Develop ideas for new strategic sales targets.
  • Nurture and help develop junior members of the sales team.
