Senior Relationship Manager – Gambling

In this position, you will be responsible for managing commercial relationships with some of the largest (international) brands in the UK specifically within the gambling vertical. Your goal is to retain and grow a portfolio of merchants through best in class relationship development and outstanding sales delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of high-profile gambling merchants to deliver strong growth to the UK business. Positioning yourself as a commerce platform that can enable digital commerce, utilising credit card processing, digital wallets, fraud management and pay-outs and shaping best in class consumer experiences via the merchant channel.
  • Maintain a strong track record of delivering against budgetary targets.
  • Develops a deep and continuing understanding of the merchant’s business and needs .
  • Deliver against growth targets and sales priorities for a portfolio of merchants.
  • Build broad and deep merchant relationships across the portfolio up to C Level.
  • Increase your entire product portfolio penetration and overall share of payment volume across this specific merchant portfolio .
  • Ensure the merchant delivers best in class experiences to their consumers.
  • Manage internal stakeholders across the entire business, always act as one team and be the customer champion .
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to deliver against quarterly targets.
  • Be comfortable building and reviewing pricing models and building compelling commercial pitches.
  • Maintain the operational health of the portfolio working closely with internal account managers.
  • Be comfortable working with complex contracts .

Job Requirements

  • 5+years experience in Relationship/Account/Product/Sales/BD management experience
  • MBA/Master/BA Degree or equivalent
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Fintech and or e-commerce
  • Strong desire to succeed, can manage ambiguity and show resilience through a sales cycle
  • Be highly motivated, enthusiastic and self-starting
  • Be a leader and team player within a strong team – ability to operate in a matrix organisation
  • Strong IT skills Salesforce, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince2, Method1, Agile) is a plus.
