What makes working for PaymentGenes unique?
I know this is a little clichéd but it is the people. I've not worked for a company before where all staff members are so invested in both the company and our industry, and who are continually hungry to learn more.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
I am able to take a step back and see the bigger picture, not only for what something is now but what that thing can become - and through many permutations and variations. I'd say my other key strength is being able simplify and explain big or complex concepts, to make them digestible and understandable for others. My main weakness is trying to do too many things at once, it means that focus and quality can suffer if I'm not at 100%.
What would you say is the most interesting fact about you?
Haha, I have no idea. I'd prefer that others decide what makes me interesting to them.
How would you describe the company’s culture?
In three words; positive, passionate, family.
How many pairs of shoes do you own?
At least 50 pairs of sneakers + more.
How many cups of coffee do you drink when at work?
A lot, more than I should.
Who is your idol?
Marsha P. Johnson, a black-trans activist who was a pioneer for LGBT+ people. She was one of the first to resist at Stonewall and helped lay the groundwork for the rights that LGBT+ people have today.
